Severn Eaton: White Shame

IMG_0855-1100x733

In 2016 Eaton performed his first performance arts piece entitled, “White Shame.” He made KKK robes out of used underwear and rode the escalators through Trump Tower in New York City. Eaton described the controversial piece as an investigation into the shame of whit supremacy groups in the United States. I really enjoyed this piece because of the political significance. It would have been awesome to see him preform this live.
